Putting a block of time aside for all counseling related activities has helped and I'm feeling better this week than last. This last week I also made what I made my first two weeks combined, so I'm kinda loving that. I also like that it's allowed me to branch out more. I've always wanted to do stuff with behavioral interventions for sleep disorders. I had problems with parasomnias for awhile (sleep paralysis with hallucinations), and managed to get them under control with sleep schedules and yelling at myself to wiggle my big toe if I woke up paralyzed so that I'm not bothered by it anymore. However, most people want to take sleeping meds and not put in the effort, which is fine, but I really want to do behavioral stuff with motivated people...because. And I finally got to do that with a person suffering from a different parasomnia (not sleep paralysis, something new!) So I like that it exposes me to more stuff.
